Description
User Story **
** As a Canofy user, I want to verify import and export air-cargo shipments through the AIICLAS service using an AWB number, so that I can retrieve the current shipment and cargo-handling details.
Description
Implement the AIICLAS cargo verification module as part of the Canofy ULIP integration framework.
The module supports both Export and Import cargo verification using an AWB number. It processes the request through the ULIP client/service layer and displays the returned shipment information.
The current implementation uses simulated AIICLAS responses to validate the complete workflow before integration with the actual ULIP API.
The module handles successful responses, invalid AWBs and simulated AIICLAS server failures.
Configuration / Prerequisites
Common Cargo Verification Framework completed.
ULIP client/service layer configured.
AIICLAS verification method implemented.
Import/Export cargo selection available.
AWB input and validation implemented.
Mock AIICLAS responses configured for success, failure and server-error scenarios.
Acceptance Criteria
User can select Import or Export cargo.
User can submit an AWB number for verification.
Successful AIICLAS responses are processed and displayed correctly.
Results display the relevant shipment information, including:
AWB Number
HAWB Number
Shipment Status
Origin
Destination
Flight Number
Airline
Cargo Location
Customs Status
Last Updated
Invalid AWBs result in a clear "No cargo found" response.
AIICLAS service exceptions are handled without crashing the application.
The module follows the common cargo verification workflow.
The mock AIICLAS implementation can be replaced by the actual ULIP API once government approval, API credentials and endpoint access are provided.
Test Cases
TC01 – Export Cargo Verification
Select Export and enter AWB:
176-98765432
Expected: Successful verification. Shipment should display Cargo Accepted, with Delhi Air Cargo Terminal as origin and Singapore Changi Airport as destination.
TC02 – Import Cargo Verification
Select Import and enter AWB:
020-12345678
Expected: Successful verification. Shipment should display Ready for Delivery, with Frankfurt Airport as origin and Mumbai Air Cargo Complex as destination.
TC03 – Invalid AWB
Enter:
000-00000000
Expected: Application displays a clear No cargo found for the provided AWB message and remains functional.
TC04 – AIICLAS Service Error
Enter:
ERROR500
Expected: Simulated AIICLAS server exception is handled gracefully and an appropriate service-unavailable/error message is displayed.
